This is a note to all those other people who prefer to read the story as if it had already happened. I would recommend it to anyone who is really struggling with making sense of life. I take my time doing this in order to meditate on what I've read. The poetry goes down like a glass of port, followed by a shot of wry. While the writing is good, characterizations are fleshed-out, plot doesn't drag, the story itself is strangly disconnected.
